Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If your question isn't answered here, please feel free to contact us to speak to a member of our team.
If I am remodeling my bathroom, when should I contact you?
We ask that you contact us as soon as possible to set up a date. You should have any new tile around the tub fully installed before refinishing. It is recommended that any major construction, cabinet installations, wall modifications, etc., be fully completed before refinishing is applied. This will help to make sure that your new finish is not accidentally damaged by the other work being performed. If other work must be completed after the resurfacing process, notify the contractors so they will not put ladders or tools in or on the new finish. The tub should not be used for cleaning paint brushes, etc.
What if I want a custom color?
We can match any color in the Kohler and Sherwin-Williams palette. Just provide us with a color sample and allow one week for us to order the custom color. For specific instructions on how to provide a color sample or how to order a custom color for your bathtub refinishing, use the contact form to the right, or call us at (734) 455-0200.
Bathtub Reglazing Services In Garden City
Whether you want your bathtub to match your new color scheme, or you just want to look at a brand new tub - we can help! Many realtors and home appraisers will agree that a white bathtub and tile scheme will add value to not only your bathroom, but your home in general! If your bathtub is approximately 60 in. x 30 in., with one or more sides against a wall, it is considered to be "standard". This is the most common type of tub, but no matter your size or type, we guarantee we can help!
Steps Taken to Refinish a Bathtub
The bathtub is scrubbed clean with a powerful detergent that will remove any soap film build-up or residual film left behind by household cleaners.
The tub is rinsed and dried completely to remove all moisture.
Paper masking is installed around the tub to prevent overspray from getting on the tiles. Other areas of the bathroom will be masked off with plastic if necessary.
Bonding agent is applied to the surface of the tub.
High Gloss Acrylic Urethane topcoat is applied
During our resurfacing process, a ventilator is used which helps remove overspray and fumes from the bathroom area. It pulls the air from the room and with it the overspray and dust particles. This piece of equipment is placed in the window of the bathroom, or if there is no window in the bathroom, a hose is attached and directed to the nearest window or door. All materials are applied using an HVLP spray system.

I am very happy with my re-surfaced bathroom wall tile! Small cracks are now totally unseen and the bathroom has an updated look! The team worked efficiently, and left everything perfectly clean. I love the new look and I'm very happy with the stone fleck selection I chose. Along with quality work, the price was affordable! Thank you.Noreen Ellison, Royal Oak, MI
